"SPACE OUT" for Science
On Saturday, April 24, local concerned citizens will "March for Science" at 10 a.m. around Victory Park. Applying safe distancing and mask wearing, the March for Science will "space out around the park", focusing on the responsible application of science to our environmental decisions.
This March can be an opportunity to get creative with expressive masks, signs, dress and other displays including decorated bikes, strollers and wagons that would make a connection between science and our environment. We encourage you - as a individual, family class and friends - to start the day with a walk around Victory Park to support science and our Earth.
The March advocates for continuing and developing positive policies that will ensure that the Earth's resources are protected and are shared responsibly for the well being of all inhabitants and all future generations.
