Earth Day Stories
On the day of National Earth Day, Stockton and San Joaquin County will be celebrating with a series of Zoom videos by experts that tell short stories about environmental issues and problems that affect us both nationally and locally. A discussion with those experts in the environmental areas presented and with virtual participants will follow. Zoom gives us a safe way to continue to "make our voices heard" while staying distant from each other. A Zoom link will be provided at a later time.

March for Science
THIS ACTIVITY HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO COVID CONCERNS IN SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY. WATCH THIS WEBSITE FOR UPDATES.
Even with our annual Earth Day Festival postponed until September this year, a "March for Science" at Victory Park will allow us to celebrate the week of Earth Day by putting a "good foot forward" in support of Science and how it directs our decisions regarding our environment. Masks will be worn and social distancing will apply as we "space out" around the park. Our outside presence at Victory Park will define us and our need to speak out regarding the importance of Science to a healthy Planet Earth.
